Why the name?

When sisters Rosie and Mary were younger they would lay side by side and each raise a leg into the air. Rosie would say, "Big foot" and Mary would reply with, "Little foot." These nicknames stood the test of time, and as a tribute to Mary (one of the original founders), it only seemed fitting to name it Littlefoot. Enter Alex Burbo.

Mary and Alex met while working at Intelligentsia and quickly became friends. When he caught wind of the dream of opening a roaster in Michigan he asked to sit down for a chat. Alex brings years of roasting experience, and since childhood has affectionately been called "Little" by his mom, Maggie. Littlefoot found its missing piece.

Who is the artist behind Littlefoot?

Littlefoot would be just a name if not for the brilliance of award-winning designer Ryan Hoelting. Thank you for bringing Littlefoot to life! From the front to the butt, you truly captured our essence.
